The next Breakers Big Splash will be held at HBF Stadium on 10 February. It would be great to see as many Breakers members swimming as possible as this is a great fund raising event for our club. This is another great opportunity for any swimmers who are still chasing their National times or who want to improve on their existing National times. Breakers Big Splash 2 is being held on the 10 February at HBF stadium. The Big Splash is one of the many ways in which we raise funds for our club. We are therefore seeking donations again for the raffle. If you have any unwanted Christmas gifts why not think about donating them to a worthy cause! All donations can be left in the outdoor meeting room in the marked box on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday nights. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

The Breakers Swimmers did the club proud at Open States over the weekend with some fantastic results, numerous medals and even two National records (pending Swimming Australia confirmation). The boys led the way with individual medals for Ben Roberts, Jack Wilson, Kieran Pollard, and Jake Smith. They also got a silver medal for the 4x100m freestyle relay consisting of Tristan De Villiers, Kieran Pollard, Jake Smith and Ben Roberts and a gold for the 4x200m freestyle relay tea

Today is the last day for Inters and Senior swimmers to register their interest in a training session on the Australia day public holiday. Wishing Jay and Tahlia all the best in Queensland. We will continue to follow your progress with interest! You have both been great role models for Breakers and have provided inspiration for a number of our younger swimmers who continue to look up to you.
